Nintendo lends support to Seattle museum’s indie game exhibition

Nintendo has sent some mixed messages this year about its support for indie developers. Now, the company is sponsoring an upcoming museum exhibition on indie games — and the developers who spend their lives making them. Seattle's EMP Museum will open its Indie Game Revolution exhibit on November 8th in an effort to showcase the work of developers like Yacht Club Games, Asteroid Base and Blendo Games. The museum will rotate different indie games through the showcase for the duration of the exhibit, and some of those games — including Yacht Club's Shovel Knight and Curve Studios' The Swapper — will be available for patrons to play on Wii U consoles provided by Nintendo. "EMP is extremely pleased and excited by Nintendo’s sponsorship of our upcoming exhibition,” museum director Patty Isacson Sabee stated in a press release confirming the partnership. "We’re thrilled to see Nintendo’s continued support of the independent game development community." Come from South African Online Casinos
